Chloe autumn-winter 2021/2022 Fashion Show in Paris

The Chloe Autumn-Winter 2021/2022 show was the debut for Gabriela Hurst as the new creative director of the French brand.

The designer has set herself two main tasks: to pay tribute to the legacy of Chloe and to make the new line of clothing, shoes and accessories as fashionable and relevant as possible. Having her own brand, Gabriela Hurst tried very delicately and competently to combine in one collection quite familiar features of the fashion house Chloe and her characteristic handwriting.

Today, she not only quoted the works of previous creative directors, but also showed her vision of the future of the famous brand. Even if it is not yet as bold as it was expected from her. The designer's corporate style is read in minimalistic images with floor-length knitted dresses, coats and sheepskin coats of calm shades, which help to balance the rather motley collection in places.

The designer decided to call the autumn-winter collection "Aphrodite", showing how sensual, playful femininity stands against heroic and wise androgyny. Everything in the fashion line looks holistic and as harmonious as possible.

Stylization is responsible for the modern approach here. The designer made a bet on comfort, warmth and comfort without compromising style and fashion. So-she replaced shoes with heels and platform with comfortable sandals and boots.

Promoting the idea of multi-layered images that are ideal for the cold season, Gabriela suggested adding bright striped ponchos over thin jackets, and puffy down jackets with an oversized hood, as if sewn from a patchwork quilt, should be combined with cozy knitted maxi dresses.

According to the couturier's idea, a colorful transformer parka can be worn in several ways: with a train, as it was at the show, or more practically, unfastening the lower part. According to the designer, it is also convenient to combine outerwear with fur vests. So the images are much more lively and interesting.

The central place in the debut fashion line from Gabriela Hurst is occupied by the theme of environmental friendliness, sustainable development and reasonable consumption. An ardent supporter of conscious fashion, the designer proudly stated that her collection is 80 percent more ethical and eco-friendly than the previous autumn one created by Natasha Ramsey-LevY.

For example, ponchos and knitted dresses are made from recycled yarn, and patchwork-style models are made from remnants of fabrics. And Hearst also decided to transfer some of the unrealized materials to a public organization that provides assistance to the homeless.
